Pray & Serve ("the App") is a free, open-source mobile application published by FlutterPlaza. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
Pray & Serve does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with third parties. All information you enter — prayers, journal entries, flock members, and care logs — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (shared_preferences).
The App does not connect to the internet. It requires no account creation, no sign-in, and no cloud services. All fonts and assets are bundled within the App.
The App offers an optional local WiFi sync feature that allows you to transfer data between your own devices over your home network. This sync uses your local WiFi network only — no data is ever sent to the internet, to any server, or to any third party. Both devices must be physically present and paired using a QR code with biometric approval. All sync traffic is encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking services.
Your data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the App, all data is permanently deleted. You may export a backup file and import it on another device, but this file remains entirely under your control.
The App offers an optional biometric lock (fingerprint or Face ID) to restrict access. When local WiFi sync is used, all data in transit is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using a unique 256-bit key shared only between your paired devices.
The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Because no data is collected or transmitted to any external service, the App is safe for users of all ages.
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
